Rethink Rebels is a sustainable and circular fashion consultancy for companies in the Netherlands. We analyse the current status of in relation to sustainability and together we make a sustainability strategy and offer implementation support. We can offer 100% support on both product, process, certification, packaging, communication about sustainability etc. We understand the difficulties of changes within a cooperation, therefore we strive to work internally as a team to create a level of responsibility from within. We believe the key to success is teamwork.
We could bring detailed inside knowledge about the Dutch textiles industry. What are the difficulties and weaknesses this industry in particular has? How can we overcome difficulties that are mainstream and how can both UK and NL companies work even more together to overcome these difficulties? I would like to discuss potential options within the Future Fashion Factory Project, to become an active member and make the fashion industry better.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Our aspirations for the future is to work closely together with stakeholders and NGO’s to change the system from within. Building our business internationally and becoming the number 1 sustainability consultancy go to for fashion companies. Next to that I would love to work closely together with students from fashion schools to share our knowledge. To inspire young designers and fashion managers to create a sustainable system, to show them new ideas and to trigger them to approach this industry in a circular manner. I would like to become a bridge builder from the professional area to the theory area.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Projects such as new developments of: sustainable & circular materials;sustainable & circular dyes/ processes; sustainable & circular factories local and international; digitalization within the fashion industry (blockchain, AI, etc); research about reducing water/ energy/ chemicals within the process; new research about sustainability & circularity.
