Open Source Fashion & Textiles
I have worked as a software engineer in open source enterprise software for over a decade and am passionate about the fashion and textiles industry. I previously ran a retail dress shop online and dreamt of starting a manufacturing company someday, however, I eventually realised that I could contribute to the industry in a more meaningful way–by using my technical background and passion for the sector.
I started Open Source Fashion & Textiles, a non profit that advocates for the development and use of sustainable open source in the fashion and textile sector. I am especially interested in technology that can help fashion and textile businesses decrease their environmental and socioeconomic impact.

- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I would like to collaborate with businesses that are willing to experiment with technology and would like to have a seat at the table in terms of what the organisation’s software which will of course be open source now and forever could look like going into the future I’m also incredibly nerdy and would be happy to either help others with their projects or just have a chat about anything fashion and technology
