Mend Assembly
Mend Assembly is a replicable, place based, local clothing practice. We offer a unique blend of grassroots maker space, local production, sustainability expertise, innovation and good old fashioned clothing services. We see people redefining their clothing habits and clothing practice returning into the hands of local communities, in permanent spaces, that offer solutional goods and services. We operate via three key areas, Programming, Membership and Services.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: We want to spend the next few years continuing to establish and prove our concept in our flagship space in Totnes Devon. In tandem we plan to continue to develop and improve our unique approach in collaboration with our first affiliate members in Kirklees, Ryde and in France. We aim to have all of these spaces fully functioning within the next five years and to be in a position to support additional affiliate members to launch as well.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Localised micro production, trainings for practical skills, immersive workshop and other types of events for fashion professionals, research and innovation around materials reuse in a localised context. Repair, design, non fashion b2b linkages.
