Leather UK
We are the trade association for the UK leather industry, representing members from raw material supply through to finished product manufacture and retail. Our key activities are the promotion, protection and connection of the UK leather industry, including lobbying, representation and education activities.
Leather UK can provide connection to academic and industrial partners in the UK leather sector, promote the ambitions of the Future Fashion Factory to its members and encourage the development of new research proposals for the sector.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Our strategy is for a more connected UK leather industry, to provide better understanding of leather as renewable, sustainable material, to develop training and education for the leather sector, promote craftsmanship and where possible, develop research to meet the changing needs of the industry.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Circular economy - waste minimisation, reuse and recycling. Training and education, particularly development of digital skills. Supply chain transparency and auditing, particularly raw material provenance.
