LaundRe, a near shoring and reprocessing denim hub in the UK. Our green, next generation equipment processes and creates the washed finish on jeans.
All jeans start life raw and unwashed. By adding the finishing in the UK we derisk the supply chain. Our facility will support British retailers to reduce risk on their buying process, we will be able to take back unsold stock and reprocess goods and also address denim waste which is filling up recyclers.
Our aim is to educate the next generation of buyers, designers and techs with workshops and by having a live working environment in the UK.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Our aim is to derisk British fashion, reduce waste and build an awareness of how we process denim. Very few people get the opportunity to visit or work in denim factories as they are all overseas and we will bridge that knowledge gap. We will support the growth of smaller brands as there is a huge gap in the market for mid- premium branded denim. We will follow SDG 12 and aim to be a B Corp.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: We are interested in connecting with on many areas including: transparency and product tracing systems, waste and circularity, education, biomimicry and future thinking R&D, science-based fashion targets.
