 Fashion & Textile Professionals

During my degree I specialised in menswear design and I have experience working in design and product development at both high street and high end brands. My current role is within raw material excess management at Burberry. My role is part of a new department that aims to generate creative utilisation opportunities for excess raw material from bulk production, creating a more sustainable supply chain. My main areas of expertise are raw materials, excess management and menswear design and production.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: My aspiration for the future is to continue working in the fashion industry; adapting to the ever increasing changing needs of society and the environment while consciously trying to make a positive impact. In the future I would love to combine my technical knowledge of fabrics and sustainable supply chains with menswear design.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I am interested in learning about ongoing research that could influence the way I work in my current role and future roles. I would also like the opportunity to collaborate with other industry professionals, sharing ideas and building networks of likeminded individuals. I am especially interested in research into sustainable supply chain management, innovative design technologies and environmentally friendly raw materials.
