Ellis Hutton
My name is Ellis and I am the owner of Ellis David Knitwear. My brand focuses on unique, one of a kind knitwear designs, which have recently been showcased on the catwalk at York Fashion Week. I am a small brand based in Yorkshire and I pride myself on being a neurodivergent designer. My adhd is my source of inspiration as I approach things from a different angle while having a more abstract way of thinking too. It also makes me like my work to standout as I use bold colours and different types of wool that creates texture, and I create each piece by hand and sew it by hand.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: I would love to share my business with people and see whether they could share any advice and guidance around how I can take my business to the next level. I am also interested in building contacts and learning from others in the design industry what could lead to future collaborations and opportunities and employment. I am also open to learning from other creatives and their experiences.
