Dey Studios
Dey Studios is a Luxury Slow Fashion brand. Every garment is carefully hand-made using sustainably sourced or dead-stock fabrics.
All items are made on a pre-order basis to prevent wastage. I want to work with 100% natural fibres sourced within the UK, aiming for full traceability of my garments. I’ve been trained with craftsmanship skills to hand-make garments to a luxury level which is something I’d love to share my knowledge on.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: My main goal is to expand to a point where I can create jobs within my area and help show people that there is the possibility to work within the fashion industry in the North East. Being a fully transparent and sustainable brand is at my core and I wantto work with other brands and like-minded people to allow this to become the norm within the industry. I would also love for Dey Studios to be stocked on sustainable or rental sites such as HURR or Wolf and Badger.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I'd love to work on projects that are within the sustainable fashion sector. I know 'sustainability' can come in all shapes and sizes and I want to l earn as much as possible on all aspects of it and hopefully share the knowledge I already have with others. I also want to incorporate the digital side of the industry, using 3D software to help with design and also using digital ID to inform the consumers on the stories behind the garments and have full transparency. From the programme themes in the brochure, circular economy and data-driven design are 2 that I'd be very interested in.
