I have developed a Zero Waste Design System that utilises communication, sharing, and play to solve the problem of waste in the fashion industry.

I have a multi-faceted approach to my work, including developing tools for creation, education through workshops and mentoring, and consulting with brands on their sustainable design practices. This is of course in tandem with my own practice (DECODE), creating Zero Waste garments which are utilitarian, playful, and just awesome.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Ultimately I want to create my own Zero Waste Factory that I design from the ground up - creating the ultimate closed loop in Zero Waste Design. This will start out as a micro-factory over the coming years and expand over time. I also plan to continue developing work with brands to show that Zero Waste Design can have endless applications for various aesthetics, price-points, and consumers.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: I’m interested in further collaborations! Wool Week was an amazing partnership, and given a bit more time I would love to continue working in this way with partners.
