Custhom is a wallpaper company. We create hand-made wallpapers using traditional methods and low impact materials.
Our aesthetic embodies bold graphics created via techniques informed by traditional textile processes of which we have specialised in over the last decade. Screen print, hand gilding and digital embroidery are key to how we create wallpaper, all techniques which transfer across from paper to cloth. We have invested time in material research and stretching conventional making processes. We feel this knowledge brings innovations to our business and could bring the view of textile making skills, material knowledge and circularity to the Future fashion factory.

- What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: Custhom plans to work towards become B-corp certified. We aim to continue partnering with companies with shared values of quality, responsible material choices such as mineral based earth pigments and well managed resources such paper and yarn supply. We plan to continue to build knowledge, adapt and create materials which can improve what and how we create, as we evolve as a company.
- What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: We are interested in projects which have environmental development at their core. Our knowledge is rooted in screen printing and digital embroidery, so we have a natural affinity to texture, colour and materiality and projects that are working to forge positive developments in these areas, we would be really interested to work on.
