 Fashion & Textile Professionals

Graduating with a MA in fashion knitwear from the Royal College of Art in 2018 led to investigation into the agriculture and innovation in natural fibre and dye. With a large archive of natural fibres, colour recipes and application methods my ongoing projects include a focus on marine pigment, local dye plant agriculture and reworking/over-dye collaborations with designers and artists.

  • What are your aspirations and plans for the future?: To embed earth conscious production methods in Fashion, I believe it is essential for mills and technicians to work with designers in order to create new systems in dying, finishing and making. Current infrastructure can be utilised within these new systems alongside collaborations with different industries working more holistically to solve industry problems in waste, pollution and raw material usage.
  • What types of projects are you interested in working on through Future Fashion Factory?: Dye/colour process, design process, cross-over industry collaborations and circular/earth conscious systems/process.
