Working in Adaptive Clothing, I see a huge market for universal, easy dressing design clothes that includes the needs of people with disabilities. The value of the adaptive fashion market has now surpassed 400 billion, but major brands are still only making token gestures to service customers with...

PYRATES is an R&D company and textile supplier: we work with the resources our planet has to offer, innovating on the aesthetic properties, functionality and sustainability of natural knit textiles. We develop and supply our quality driven PYRATEX® fabrics to other brands through collaborations. Our PYRATEX® fabrics are made from either vegetal, upcycled or biodegradable fibres. The vegetal fibers all originate from different plants, which give the fabrics their unique functionality. The active components in PYRATEX® fabrics are not injected nor added; they are naturally occurring in the plant we make the fabric from: they have no expiration date, nor do they wash away.
