The focus of my personal and professional interests is in optimising and rationalising the way that clothes, menswear in particular, is sized, fitted and how this can improve every aspect of the industry, from production to the customer retail experience. My professional background is in digital transformation and ecommerce for premium and heritage menswear brands and I hope that I can bring some unique perspectives of the challenges of selling fitted clothing through different channels and the opportunities for change in the sector.

My business focuses on developing functional and technical textiles that can enhance wellbeing. The first product is a pair of sustainable, multi-layered cleaning gloves that are both functional, antimicrobial and enhance wellbeing. I have a business and product development background, with advanced degrees in innovation, technology and sustainability. Nostalgae’s focus is mainly on R&D for improving the colour fastness and performance of avocado stone and skin, turmeric, onion skins as well as microalgae extracted colours. Particularly, the microalgae pigment is a very promising solution as the batch microalgae culture is renewable within 30 days and studies confirm microalgae strains’ ability to purify the textile wastewater. Numerion is a software developer and our main business is virtual garment simulation for the movie industry, for animated movies and also digi-doubles including replacing the clothing that real actors are wearing. Our technology is also very applicable to the fashion industry, from design to manufacture to presentation of garments to the consumer, in store and on the web. Our technology can also be used for shoe, bag and accessory virtual simulation. As far as we are aware, we are the only UK company developing simulation products addressing this market.
