Fashion Roundtable is the only think tank dedicated to reimagining a responsible and inclusive fashion industry. We work across the fashion and textiles industry including technology, innovation, education, skills and sustainability policy. Fashion Roundtable is the secretariat for the only two APPGs which work with the sector, allowing us a pivotal and powerful voice in the intersection between the industry, creativity and policy.
Feedelon is an e-commerce platform supporting sustainable brands. Beside the B2C front end, we are launching a B2B platform on Blockchain to help the designers to prove the provenance of the product. collaborating in a trusted and secure environment. The blockchain will provide the certification and smart contract recording for transparency and traceability perspective; and to validates the sustainable approach. Our solution can help designers to source sustainable materials and highlight their sustainable approach.
BA Fashion Marketing (Graduation: 2021) My interests lie in new technologies, materials and closed-loop processes in order to reduce the fashion industry’s environmental impact. Fibe focuses on creating sustainable textiles by developing yarns from potato harvest waste. Potatoes are the third most grown food crop in the world and the plant leftover from cultivation is a massive, overlooked waste stream. We predict that our fibres would use 99% less water, 92% less energy and 90% less land than cotton all while promoting food farming. We believe we can add to the innovation taking place at FFF and represent many of the upcoming student start-ups in this space. At FET, we have two main focuses for our business. The first is the production of pilot scale yarn manufacturing equipment. Typically, our equipment produces monofilament and multifilament yarn along with non-woven materials from an array of synthetic and natural polymers. FibreLab is a hyper-localised textile shredding and recycling service that helps fashion businesses find creative and sustainable solutions to textile waste from the manufacturing process in an easily accessible and affordable way.
