DyeRecycle is a new circular chemical technology to decolour textile fibres, and reuse the dyes to colour new fibres. The technology uses textile waste as a feedstock for dyes and colours while at the same time providing a unique decolourization method without the use of harsh chemicals, and without harming or damaging the fibres. The decolourization of fibres improves and facilitates the fibre recyclability in recycling processes. The company is focused on the education requirements of industry and commerce in the new economy of the 4th Industrial Revolution resting on technological innovation and creativity. It works closely with Leeds Beckett University and Tsinghua University in Beijing to develop, test and evaluate university degree programmes, tuned into the requirements of the new economy, led by an e4i4 Centre at Leeds Beckett University which is a joint initiative.
