His knowledge covers various funding options including innovation grant funding schemes (such as Innovate UK and Horizon 2020)\, R&D Tax Credits as well as a range of other funding alternatives. \nWill Schaffer is an investment director with Mercia’s Yorkshire-based venture equity team\, primarily focused on the origination and execution of deals for the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund\, in particular the provision of growth capital to trading SMEs with ambitious and innovative management teams. In his last year at KPMG in Leeds\, Will was seconded to NorthInvest\, where he developed an angel investor network and support ecosystem for tech start-ups across the North of England.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about her approach\, as well as creating a paper mockette of a zero-waste pattern that you can translate onto fabric at home. \nThis workshop is aimed at fashion designers with a basic understanding of pattern cutting. You will need A4 paper\, tape\, a ruler\, pencil and scissors. \nAbout Danielle Elsener \nDanielle Elsener has devoted her life’s work to proving zero waste as a valid and robust design model. Having worked as a designer at Nike\, she graduated from MA Fashion at the Royal College of Art in 2019.
